He was the very first interview I had during the CMA Awards week. I knew Chris Stapleton as this amazing songwriter who had written Luke Bryan's "Drink A Beer." Watch him sing the song with Lady Antebellum at last year's CMT Artists of the Year show.
We love to look good in our clothes. We love to look good nekkid. We also love food. If we love food too much, we don’t look good in what we’re wearing and we sure as hell don’t look good in our birthday suits. While most of us want to lose weight, it’s hard to find the motivation. What if losing weight could lead to money in your pocket? Cue DietBet.
Bet on yourself to lose weight, achieve your goal, win the money you put in and then some. It doesn’t matter how you lose the weight. Simply lose 4% of your body weight in 4 weeks then split the pot!
Does DietBet actually work? Out of 259,328 DietBetters, over 93% of them have lost weight during their challenges. They lost over 2.5 million pounds and won over $11 million dollars. Simply put, yes, DietBet works.
The challenge officially begins on Wednesday, October 28th and you can sign up at www.dietbet.com/ellentailor. There you’ll find tips and advice from myself and other challengers. Let’s get a jump start on the holidays together!
I don't do goodbyes. I've even no-showed at my own goodbye party before. I'm not the best at it so please forgive the mess you're about to read.
As I write this, Tony Russell is sitting right next to me. Hell, he might even be looking over my shoulder as I type. It's sad to think that he won't be here come Monday morning. Today is Tony's last day with us on "Fitz in the Morning."
Ever since moving here nearly four years ago, these guys, Fitz, Tony and Randy, have been the people I've spent the most time with (not to mention in an oh-so-small studio.) We've butted heads more times than I can count and laughed together harder than I ever have in my life. Most times because Tony is, hands down, the funniest one in the group.
Each morning would start with Tony pulling into the parking ramp around the same time I did bumping the most horrific music you can imagine. (Mainly Nickleback.) Once we got into the studio he'd compliment me in some way (which made up for the God awful music) then talk about the latest conspiracy theories with Fitz.
Whenever we'd go out for events, Tony would be the one that would always disappear. It was no mystery where to find him though. He was always at the bar laughing with listeners and making genuine friends with those that tune in everyday.
My heart hurts for Fitz. Those two have worked together for nearly 20 years! Tony was the host at Fitz's first internship. Crazy, right?! My heart hurts for our P1's. Mostly my heart hurts for Tony. I know he wants to be here, we want him here, but for reasons outside of our control, he's moving on.
Thank you Tony for being you. I can't type the things I really want to say because I'll cry. Hell. I'm already crying. What are you kidding me?! And since I know you're one for quotes Mr. Russell, here's one of my favorites.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
