Washington State Horse Expo

Be sure to visit the 5th Annual Washington State Horse Expo this February 20th-22nd at the Clark County Event Center - just 20 minutes from downtown Portland. See Spanky and Dally as seen on The Late Show with David Letterman. Watch the extreme Cowboy Competition, dressage clinics, barrel racing demonstrations, and so much more. Portland Polar Plunge

On February 28th more than 2,000 people will take turns plunging into the Columbia River at NE Portland's Broughton Beach on Marine Drive. The state-wide annual Oregon Law Enforcement Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Oregon presented by Fred Meyer will raise more than half a million dollars for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Polar Plunge Portland will include a 5K Polar Plunge Fun Run/Walk. Runners must raise a minimum of $25 to run or $50 to run and Plunge. This event will feature a Winter Beach Party with live music, food, and activities for plungers and their guests to participate in. Plungers can participate as individuals or recruit a group of friends, family or co-workers to Plunge into the water as a team. Click here to sign up and find out more about this event.
