Vince Gill first unveiled his personal ballad, "Forever Changed," back in 2014. The country icon performed the song February 6 while at a Country Radio Seminar showcase taking place at the Ryman Auditorium.

According to Rolling Stone, "Forever Changed" reflects on an experience in his own life which occurred in the seventh grade. Although he "was not abused as a child," Gill conveyed the "disturbing" incident once again to the Nashville crowd and dedicated his performance to those affected by sexual abuse.

The 60-year-old debuted the influential and inspiring song at a very emotional time in the entertainment industry. Especially for those impacted by the #MeToo and Time's Up movement.
