Toronto mayor Rob Ford returned to City Hall this week after seven weeks in a rehab facility. He said that he’s “ashamed, embarrassed and humiliated, and for the first time, he admitted that had a substance abuse problem and that it had affected his work.
Sounds like part of his time in rehab was catching up on all the news stories about his substance abuse problem and how it affected his work.
Then, he launched right into a campaign speech, because of course, he is running for re-election.
Possible campaign slogan: “No, Really, I’m Okay Now.”
