Designate a driver BEFORE the party starts, have a plan to get people home safely if you’re hosting, and always buckle up—it’s the best defense against drunk drivers! Nearly 10,000 people die each year in alcohol-related crashes and the Oregon State Police and local law enforcement will have extra traffic patrols on game days to keep the roads safe. This football season, Pass The Keys and designate a driver! A message from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, OSP and Oregon Department of Transportation.
