Rock ?n? Roll Portland Marathon

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Portland Half Marathon and 10K are coming to Portland on May 17th
Open to runners and walkers of all fitness levels, participants will be able to enjoy high energy bands, cheer squads, and entertainment throughout the course followed by an exciting finish line headliner concert featuring Portugal the Man! Bare Root Tree, Shrub & Perennial Sale

NatureScaping is hosting their annual Bare Root Tree, Shrub & Perennial Sale on April 25th-26th & May 2nd from 10a-3p at the Wildlife Botanical Gardens located at 11000 NE 149th Street, Brush Prairie, WA. This is their largest fundraiser, held in cooperation with students from the Center for Agriculture, Science, and Environmental Education who will be selling landscaping plants as well as vegetables. There will be a wide selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials starting at only $8, $5, and $1 respectively, as well as Mason Bee cocoons and garden photos. Lung Love Run/Walk 5K Portland

Move with purpose on Saturday, June 20th for the first ever Lung Love Run/Walk Portland. This family friendly event for lung cancer provides a great opportunity to show support, empower those impacted and provide hope to the lung cancer community in the Portland Metro area. Plant a Seed Dinner and Auction

On May 1st from 6:00p-8:30p, the International Air and Hospitality Academy is putting on an elegant, three-course meal at the Fort Vancouver Historic Reserve for the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation's "Hello Baby" Book Bag program; which gives bags full of books, materials, and other learning supplies to new and expecting mothers for their children. Oregon Potters Association's 33rd Annual Ceramic Showcase

“Welcome Home” is the theme of the Oregon Potters Association’s 33rd Annual Ceramic Showcase, the nation’s largest sale and show of ceramics. This one-of-a-kind, free, three-day event offers the perfect gifts for housewarmings, Mother’s Day, graduations and summer weddings. More than 150 artists from Oregon and SW Washington will display and sell eye-catching serving and baking pieces, vases and vessels, wall art and other items for the home, garden and office. This event is on May 1st & 2nd from 10a-7p and May 3 from 10a-5p.This event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in the Georgia-Pacific Room and in the Exhibit Hall (300 N Winning Way Portland, Oregon 97227). Vancouver Walk to Cure Arthritis

Arthritis is the most common cause of disability in America, 1 in 5 adults and more than 300,000 children have it which means there is a good chance that you know someone who is affected by it. Take action and help raise funds to find a cure at the Vancouver Walk to Cure Arthritis on May 16th at Esther Short Park. Participation in the walk is free! Hike On The Dike

Join friends furry and otherwise for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society's Hike On The Dike, Saturday, May 30th at 10am at Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal, WA. This event will raise money to help homeless animals in the area. There will be a 5K, 10K, Police K9 demonstration, food, drink, lots of pet vendors, and adoptable dogs. Teach One to Lead One 5k & 10k

A family fundraiser for the Teach One to Lead One community mentoring program for at-risk youth is being held at 9am on May 30th starting in the Fort Vancouver High School parking lot (5700 E 18th Street in Vancouver). There will be a 5k & 10k run/walk on the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail. This fundraiser will be fun for the whole family! There will be a photo booth, food, and t-shirts along with the fun run/walk. Ladybug Run for CDH Awareness

Join the Ladybug Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) foundation for their annual 5K & 10K race at Cook Park in Tigard on July 25th. This stroller-friendly race course winds through open green spaces and forested paths along the Tualatin River and adjoining neighborhoods to provide a unique and fun running experience. All race participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, enjoy live music, craft beer and much more! Best of all, the proceeds from the race go to the Ladybug CDH Foundation whose mission is to help raise public awareness, fund medical research, and provide direct assistance to families in the Pacific Northwest with children affected by CDH, a potentially fatal congenital birth defect that affects 1 out of 2500 children born every year. Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk

Register for the Portland Get Your Rear in Gear® 5K Run/Walk to help raise funds for colon cancer awareness efforts in the Portland area. Monies raised will stay in our community, helping with prevention, early detection and treatment, and healthy living projects for this disease. The event includes refreshments, tech shirts and marathon quality medals for age group winners.
