Northstar


NorthStar is a mental health recovery program for adults in the Portland metro area living with mental illness that helps members find employment and offers a safe place to alleviate stigma. Support this important organization by attending the 4th Annual NorthStar Benefit Auction, Thursday, April 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at Melody Ballroom at 615 SE Alder, Portland, OR 97214. Auction items include a trip to Belize, a weekend at Hood River, a trip to Maui, professional cooking lessons and more! Tickets cost $75 and include dinner, appetizers, dessert and one drink. Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk


Register for the Portland Get Your Rear in Gear® 5K Run/Walk to help raise funds for colon cancer awareness efforts in the Portland area. Monies raised will stay in our community, helping with prevention, early detection and treatment, and healthy living projects for this disease. The event includes refreshments, tech shirts and marathon quality medals for age group winners. Get Your Rear in Gear provides a special opportunity to honor survivors and those lost to colon cancer in our community. Get event info here.

Sleep Country PJ Bowl


For the nearly 20,000 foster children living in the Northwest, each day presents new challenges. But with the community’s help, these children can regain a sense of hope. Funds raised by Pajama Bowl participants will be used to provide resources, and little wishes that foster kids often go without – whether it's a funding athletic participation fees, obtaining assistance in school, or reuniting with a sibling at summer camp. Since its inception, Pajama Bowl has raised over $900,000 for foster kids, thanks to the generous support of over 6,500 participants! Click here for locations and dates!

Mujeres


You're invited to dance the night away at the exciting event, Mujeres. They will be celebrating the importance and legacy of women with a special late night Ladies Night! The evening will feature performances by local writers of Los Porteños, and DJ Coast2C will be spinning tunes to shake it up from 10pm-1am! The event is located at 537 SE Stark St. in Portland.
